The city of Manassas, Virginia is home to slightly fewer than 43,000 residents. Slightly more than one-third of those 25 years old or older reported having a college degree. Approximately three-quarters of residents lived in owner occupied housing with a median value of $394,000 according to the 2020 census. As in the case of Woodbridge, the value of housing has risen sharply in the past four years. The list price of 194 homes for sale in January 2024 ranged from $5,000 to $11 million with a median of $530,000, according to Realtor.com. There are several areas where homes are valued at well over $1 million.
