Burke

According to the Census Bureau, more than 42,000 people called Burke home in 2020, a third of which were under the age of 18. Nearly ninety percent lived in owner-occupied homes with a median value of $650,000, two-thirds of those over 25 reported having at least a Bachelor’s degree, and the median household income was slightly more than $170,000. Subsequent Census estimates show the county growing its population to more than 44,000, putting increased pressure on steadily rising housing prices.
